Dallas Aquarium

Just a few days ago I was thinking how we had yet to take Ayla to the Dallas Aquarium. Addy had been a couple of times before, but we hadn’t been back since our little monkey was born. So today we took an impromptu trip to the Dallas Aquarium.

Definitely a Daddy’s Girl!!

Ayla was pretty quiet through the whole walk until we visited the stingrays. She quickly made friends with a little boy and was pointing and saying “See his mouth?”

Almost 3 years ago, to the day, we took Addy to the aquarium… she was 18 months. I made sure to get a similar picture of me with Ayla at the stingray tank. We had to fight a few crowds today, so we couldn’t get it perfect. Oh well, I love it anyway! It’s funny to compare my girls… Addy had SO MUCH HAIR!

Daddy being silly with the girls!

And the following picture was completely not staged. I just love my little girl so much! She gets lots of love and kisses from this mama!

Addy 3 years ago – 18 months. Ayla today – 2 years.

Addy would not quit laughing at this shark. His “face” really creeps me out for some reason. I’ve always had a weird thing with fish and the ocean. There’s just something not okay about how weird they look. I’ve always wondered how many fish we probably have no idea are lurking in the bottom of the ocean. *chills*

And that’s it for my random pictures and explanations! I have a few more pictures on my iPhone, but I’m sure I’ve already shared enough. If you’re in the area and you haven’t been to the Dallas Aquarium, you should take the time to go. I would suggest going on a weekday if you can. Today was pretty crowded and it was really hard to get some great pictures of the girls. But they loved it anyway and Aaron and I always have fun too.

Beautiful Momma

It’s almost unfair to be this gorgeous! Loved spending the afternoon with this family, and I can’t wait for baby girl to arrive!!

Happy Birthday Monkey!

It’s hard to believe my chunky monkey turns 2 today. I’m not sure where those brown eyes and curly blonde hair comes from… but she’s beyond beautiful and I’m so happy she’s mine!

Tracie H. - That was really good. I’m impressed. I was too afraid to do my first one by myself that I made my husband do it with me. Look forward to seeing more.
