I’m not even sure how to start this post, so I’m just going to dive right into it….
We love our customers, we love our employees, we love our store… but the time has come to close this chapter in our lives. It was fun while it lasted, but in all honesty, we are too busy! About a year after we opened in Denton, the store became less fun for us and more of a chore. Maybe it was our crazy landlord at the time, or the stress of moving to a different location, or who knows what – but in the midst of all that craziness, we lost the passion and drive a boutique like this really needs.
I don’t want to say I’m sad, because I’d be lying. I’m actually thrilled! It’s a huge weight off my back. With no boutique I will have the time to devote to my family and my photography… my two greatest passions anyway! Aaron and I have been working on an online store, and it’s quite possible that we will continue to sell online…. it’s also a possibility that we won’t! We are still praying and seeking God’s perfect will in this situation, but we definitely feel released from our boutique in Highland Village. I believe clarity will come after we have shut the doors and taken a little time out for our family and our marriage. Being in business together is tough stuff, and Lord knows we need some quality time together.
Let me reiterate that my photography business is not over. In fact, I’ll be spending more time and energy on photography. I was actually already able to sign up for a workshop I’ve been dying to go to, but haven’t had the time. So yea!!
So there it is! We will be closing toward the end of March. So come in and shop while you can and while we still have some things left! Thanks so much to all of our customers. We love and appreciate you guys!

I’m really happy for you and Aaron’s decision!! Sorry to see the boutique go…I really wanted to visit your new location. Praying for God’s perfect will in your life
Thanks for the prayers Rebecca!!
