Curious little Maggie

You might remember this momma from her maternity session a few months ago. I was so excited when she booked her newborn session. I love me some squishy little newborn babies! Little Maggie was not so thrilled with me though. She was happy as can be, she just didn’t want to sleep for me! There must be something about being 10 days old that brings out the curiosity in newborns. I’m actually thinking about changing my newborn portrait policies because this happens to me a lot!! Even though Maggie wasn’t so cooperative with me, she did sleep a little for her momma, but as soon as we laid her down… those eyes popped right open! She’s beautiful either way!!!

Cheep Cheep

My girls are some kind of animal lovers. These poor little chickens were hugged, kissed, and loved probably a little too much!!

Welcome Barkley!

For awhile now we’ve been looking for a dog to rescue. I had strict rules as to what I was going to allow into my house. All of that quickly disappeared when I saw these little puppy eyes looking at me. She was in a sad little room by herself and didn’t even move her body when she turned her head around to look at me with the saddest eyes I’ve ever seen. I was a goner once they let us play with her. A puppy. A pit bull mix. Two of my strict rules, broken.

I’m still here!

I’m still here, but I’ve been spending a lot of my time outside with the girls. Something about this week has me all stressed out. On top of that, my computer is acting all wonky. Once I return emails and update the calendar, I get about 10 minutes of actual work done before I want to chuck my mouse across the room. I promise I have sessions to show you guys!! Soon. It would be sooner if someone could come figure out my computer issues for me!!!
