June Bug @ 8 months

Here’s my little June Bug @ 8 months. She started waving this month. Thrilled I actually caught her doing it!!!

And of course I had to get some of Addy. She wasn’t cooperative AT ALL this day! In fact, I think this entire little photo session lasted about 4 minutes, not exaggerating. Can you tell I had some company when I took the ones in the flowers? I have no idea what was going on behind me, but neither of my girls wanted to look at me! That’s the last time I take Grammy & Carmen to a shoot!!! Ok, maybe not… they did help keep the girls away from speeding cars. I should probably let them come again.:)

ol’ blue eyes | fort worth family photographer

No joke, this kid is cute! Mom told me she really wanted pictures to emphasize her son’s blue eyes. It was almost laughable once I met him… there’s no hiding these blue eyes!!

Seriously, could he be any cuter?!

Now for those of you who think I do some trick in photoshop to make them look that blue… you’re mistaken!

Of course there were pumpkins everywhere, so I had to get a few with them. I think he enjoyed it too.

Beaba Babycook

One thing I have done with my youngest that I never even attempted with my first child is make my own baby food. I thought it would be fun, easy, and way more appealing than the oh so smelly processed stuff. After my first attempt, I was hooked! I made peas. And you know what…. they smelled like peas, they looked like peas, I was even brave enough to taste them myself! Yum! And it was really easy. Steam some peas, throw them in the blender. Done. Seriously, that easy. It did take me awhile to figure out exactly which kitchen appliance was going to work best. I tried the food processor, the blender, & even the salsa maker. Just to let you know, the salsa maker makes awesome salsa… baby food, not so much. The lady who demonstrates the salsa maker will tell you it makes good baby food… it doesn’t. I ended up with a lot of dishes to clean, but at least I knew which appliance to use…. the babycook!! Ha! Honestly, the blender worked just fine when it came to pureeing the food and I used it for a good 3 months before I finally FINALLY got the babycook! I’ve had my eye on this little appliance for awhile, and was excited to see it at the ABC Kids Expo last month. Of course I ordered one for myself! It is so awesome. Cut up some food, pour in the water, let it cook, dump it out, blend it up… 10 minutes and I’m done for the day. One round of sweet potatoes in the babycook made enough food for the entire day. Of course, you hafta consider the fact that my little chunk eats a lot!

So come in the boutique and get one of these magic machines for $149.99. I hear they make baby food smell & taste good!!!

my other nephew | denton children’s photographer

My sister-in-law was kind enough to test out a new location with me the other day. My nephew, who usually doesn’t like my huge camera in his face, HAMMED it up for me. And don’t you know I loved every second of it! He’s so stinkin’ adorable.

Finally appearing on the blog, please meet my other nephew. Looks just like me, huh?
