I’ll do almost anything to get a kid to smile. My tricks don’t work on my own kids. Apparently it’s completely normal for me to ask Ayla to say “penguin toots”. It just makes this picture even more funny because I know what she’s saying.

Here’s a look at the families who took advantage of my bluebonnet mini session. I honesty don’t know how they’re going to only pick 5 favorites! These are some seriously cute kiddos.

If you missed out on this one, sign up now for my next mini session. It is May 5th, and you can find the details here.

When this momma contacted me to schedule newborn pictures, she already knew her daughter’s birth date. Little Ella was extremely happy with her cozy home and wasn’t in any hurry to position herself for a natural birth. So the c-section was scheduled and I was able to come capture some of her very first days. Brand new baby girl… apparently still thought she was cramped in momma’s tummy. I have never giggled so much at a session. There was seriously no getting those feet away from her face!! We worked so hard to curl her up, but as soon as I let go… the legs and feet went up. And even though it wasn’t a typical snuggly, curled and cozy newborn session, I absolutely love the memories I was able to capture! Ella will probably be the only newborn I ever experience this with. I can’t help but smile when I see this first picture!

These are beautiful! She is so teeny tiny!!! I love it!
What a BEAUTIFUL little girl this is! Congratulations to this sweet family!
I bought some birdhouses from World Market about a month ago purely for decoration. I never thought a bird would actually make a nest inside of one! Yesterday, Addy comes running in my room screaming “A bird!! Look! He’s carrying a stick!” It was seriously adorable how excited she was! I’m kicking myself in the booty for not taking a picture of Addy. She was still in her nightly attire… or lack there of… so I couldn’t share them anyway, but I wish I had them for myself. Shoot! Well, just imagine her in her princess panties, sitting in front of the window, chomping on jelly beans, yelling with excitement each time that bird brought a stick back to the birdhouse. So cute. I did get some pictures of the bird through the window. I didn’t want to walk outside and scare it away, so please excuse the window glare in these pictures.

All the commotion didn’t seem to bother Barkley. She’s seriously the best puppy ever.
