I cannot believe a year ago today I met you for the first time. It was love at first sight. With your arrival, my world felt a little more complete. I can remember the first words I spoke when you arrived, “What’s wrong with her! Why isn’t she crying!!” Of course there was nothing wrong with you, that is just your personality. Even from day 1 you were a laid back, ridiculously happy baby, who hardly ever cried! I have no idea what I did to deserve such an amazing little girl, but I am so so glad you’re mine.
I love you monkey!
I have so many of these monthly mini sessions I haven’t shared yet! Here’s my little June Bug at 10 months… still no hair. Completely opposite of her older sister who had piggy tails by this point. There’s nothing even there to put a clip in! The headbands are ripped right off. So until my baby decides to sprout some more hair, I will have to deal with every single stranger telling me how cute my little boy is. She could be covered from head to toe in hot pink, yet people still call her a boy? I don’t get it.
Believe it or not, I’m not the most outgoing person. I would actually describe myself as an introvert, a home body, a girl with a small circle of close friends. Don’t get me wrong, I will talk to whoever about whatever. I think my husband has worn off on me a tiny bit. (He’s the total opposite of shy.) But sometimes you just meet someone that you instantly click with. Thank God my 3 year old gets this, or I would’ve never met this amazing family. Addy and Abigail were bff’s from day one of preschool. Addy would come home and I would here never ending stories about “my friend Abigail”. Seriously, the cutest thing ever. And thank the Lord Abigail has a super cool mom. God knew what he was doing when he put Addy and Abigail together, and I’m thankful for the friendship I’ve found through two giggly three year old girls. It’s funny how these things work out.
So meet the Hayes family… 3 handsome boys and one seriously cute little girl! These kids were so much fun. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much! I will for sure be posting some outtakes from this session soon!
