Thankful Thursday | comfortable

I love John Mayer. I’ve seen him with Maroon 5, Colbie Caillat, and as of Tuesday night – Michael Franti and Spearhead. Not really my cup of tea, but so entertaining. I’ve never laughed so much at a concert. Michael Franti wore no shoes, moonwalked across the stage, played the tambourine, danced like a fool. He definitely put on a good show. John Mayer always puts on a good show, filled with amazing guitar playing, awesome vocals, and awkward faces. I was a little ticked when he said he was going to play “Comfortable” and never delivered. That’s probably one of my favorite songs he does. Teaser.

This leads me to my first installment of Thankful Thursday. A weekly rant of what I’m thankful for…

* People who have the patience to learn how to play a guitar. Major props to you.

* Groomers who will shave a 65 pound golden retriever. My floors and allergies thank you.

* Addy’s school. Yesterday she got on my scale, looked at the numbers and said “29!” Seriously, what 2 year old can read the number 29?! Little smartie pants.

* My husband and our comfortable love. He’ll buy me tickets to see John Mayer, even though he would rather see Gary Allen.
